APA Style Manual

What is APA Style?

When asked to write in APA style, it is a reference to the editorial style developed by The American Psychological Association that many of the social and behavioral sciences have adopted.

Editorial style concerns uniform use of such elements as
punctuation and abbreviations
construction of tables
selection of headings
citation of references
presentation of statistics
other elements contained in a manuscript

Citing ERIC Documents

ERIC provides more than 1.4 million bibliographic records of education-related materials.  Some records have links to full text in Adobe PDF format.  Within the ERIC Collection, you will find records for journal articles, books, research syntheses, conference papers, technical reports, policy papers, and other education-related materials.  Please see the University of Indiana Wesleyan University example of how to cite ERIC documents.
